Madison Square: Eliza Jewitt House

Prosperous realtor Eliza Jewitt built this house of stucco over brick. It is doubly blessed by the expanse of Madison Square in front and Shaver's Bookstore below. In the 1950s, monocled character actor Charles Coburn came here often to visit his sister Zoe. 326 Bull Street.
