Scottish Rite Masonic Temple

On the southwest corner of Madison Square stands the old Scottish Rite Temple which houses a college bookstore and restaurant. The building once contained an old Victorian pharmacy - a favorite meeting spot for young swains who met to drink sarsaparilla.
