St. Johns Episcopal Church - 329 Bull Street, Madison Square

Gothic church with connecting garden to parish house. Gothic in design and dating from the mid-1850s, St. John's was designed by Calvin Otis. Dark wood and rich colors contribute to an atmosphere of quiet beauty. The sound of St. John's carillon has long been a melodious gift to the neighborhood. Between the church and the parish house, Macon Street was closed to make room for a gracious garden. Bull Street on Madison Square.
