Savannah has a thriving arts community. The Savannah College of Art and Design provides many activities throughout the year. The Civic Center hosts a wide variety of events including ballet, opera, ice skating, bull riding and concerts. Art galleries are numerous and many are within walking distance of downtown. And for theater buffs, you can usually find something going on at the Lucas, Savannah, or SCAD's Trustee Theater.
